Where is Abertay University?

Abertay University is situated in the heart of Dundee, Scotland. It’s an ideal base for students studying arts and humanities, sciences and medicine, engineering, IT and business. Established in 1888, Abertay University has a long history of quality teaching and research.

 The university offers several undergraduate courses such as computing science and digital media to a range of Masters degrees such as computer systems engineering and forensic psychology. The University gained its university status in 1994.

The physical address is : “KYDD Building, Bell Street Buildings, Dundee DD1 1HG“. Visitors must enter through the main entrance at KYDD Building on Bell Street. Access to the nearby car park is via the double gates at Mylne Street with an electric entry/exit monitoring system.

 The University offices are open during normal office hours Monday – Friday (9am-5pm). The library is open 24/7 along with many other resources available online including access to ebooks and videos on demand through their iLearn website. Several cafés offer a variety of food options throughout the day or night within walking distance from the campus grounds.

How to Reach Abertay University, Dundee?

Flying by plane is one of the most convenient ways to get to Dundee, Scotland from other parts of the country or abroad. There are three major international airports located within a two-hour drive from Dundee: Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. All these locations offer easy access to direct flights from major cities worldwide, so you’ll have plenty of options for how to get here.

In addition to these international airports, Dundee even has its own airport which operates two domestic flights per day to and from London Heathrow airport.
