Term Dates 2024/2025
The academic year of 2024/25 will be an exciting one for students! Semester 1 will begin on the 23rd of September and end on the 13th of December. International students arriving between the 9th to 16th of September can start their induction with Welcome Week starting from the 16th onwards. However, the academic year dates for professional programmes such as clinical, education and social work programmes may vary.
Assessment Weeks 1, 2 and 3 are scheduled for mid to late December and January respectively so that eligible students have plenty of time to plan beforehand. Winter Vacation is also fixed between the 23rd of December and until 5th January so that everyone gets a well-deserved break before carrying on with their studies. After this, a Private Study Week will be held in order to make sure that all students are ready when it comes time to assess their knowledge.
