Application Process

Applying for a postgraduate course can be a simple process. ARU offers an online system that enables prospective postgraduates to apply easily and securely. 

All applicants are required to complete an application form, provide evidence of any previous qualifications, submit two referees’ reports and pay the application fee. 

After these elements have been submitted, applicants will receive a confirmation email or letter indicating that their application has been received.

Admissions staff at ARU review all applications on an individual basis, taking into account the suitability of the course for each applicant based on academic qualifications, as well as other factors such as relevant work experience and job-related skills.

Furthermore, each individual who applies will receive an offer or rejection within 8 weeks depending on whether or not they meet the entry criteria.

The Anglia Ruskin University has established six research institutes, each of which focuses on a specific research topic.

The Cambridge Institute for Music Therapy Research is dedicated to studying the impact of music therapy on physical and mental health. 

It seeks to find conclusive evidence that music can be used therapeutically in clinical settings, as well as online.

The Global Sustainability Institute encourages research into the role of business and finance in promoting sustainability around the world. 

Their researchers investigate methods for transitioning business models into more sustainable forms and implementing them at an international level.

The Policing Institute for the Eastern Region seeks to inform security management policies on a local governmental level with evidence-based research programs.
