Open Day Programme
Open Days provide prospective students and their families with an excellent opportunity to experience Aberystwyth University first-hand. From 9.00 in the morning to 16.00 in the afternoon, there is a range of activities offered across the day, including welcome talks and the chance to view campus facilities such as our libraries, student accommodation options, cafes (and their range of refreshments), sports amenities, and a wide range of choices.

There are ample opportunities to get answers to your questions from academic staff and current students at various information fairs taking place throughout the day.
Starting at the Aberystwyth Arts Centre, where you will register upon arrival, our team can advise you on what sessions would best suit you or your family’s needs.
The campus event then takes place on the Penglais Campus, beginning with a welcome talk which is repeated during the morning.
Attendees also have access to a wide range of presentations and optional talks on topics ranging from selection of Accommodation options, Fees and Funding and Student Life; giving participants plenty of chances to find out more about university life at Aberystwyth before enrolling.
