The entry requirements for the HNC Engineering programme are designed to allow students who are currently employed in the engineering industry or plan to enter into the industry, to pursue an opportunity to further their advanced studies.
To be eligible for the programme, candidates should typically hold minimum requirements such as a Level 3 qualification in engineering or a related field and provide evidence of relevant work experience in the industrial field that accurately reflects the level they would be studying at.
The department may also require applicants to possess prior knowledge and understanding of certain practical skills and transferable skills in order to successfully complete the programme, such as mathematics, CAD (computer-aided design projects) systems and development tools.
In addition, they must demonstrate an enthusiasm for learning within their chosen field. The department will thoroughly review all applications and assess them on an individual basis.
In order to be assessed for the Level 4 qualification, you will be required to successfully complete a broad range of written and practical assessments covering all aspects of the academic qualification.
